Hi there, We are Tyler and Joe, a gay couple in our mid-to-late 30s looking to rent out the spare room in our Arrow Heights flat to an individual, no couples. We're super close to Mackenzie Village, and "shoot, I forgot my gloves but it's okay, I'll be right back!" distance from the resort. The room comes with a queen bed, closet, chest of drawers, and a couple old cube storage shelves. The living room and kitchen are fully furnished, with not much room for new equipment/crockery. There is storage in the entrance area for coats and gear, and room in our on-site storage shed for some seasonal gear. We have a cozy outdoor space in our carport, with a fire table that's really nice to sit around in the winter (picture of this space in listing is outdated). I work for a non-profit in town, and Tyler in property maintenance. We are early to rise, early to bed kinda people, working 7/8am - 5pm on weekdays. In the winter evenings we enjoy Nordic skiing, dinner with friends, trivia nights, and also just hanging out at home. We are ideally seeking a part-time tenant, or someone who works as a lodge or shift worker. This is because our apartment is quite cozy, and overlapping schedules can be harder to manage. That said, we're open to full-time tenants too, particularly if we think our schedules would not clash. Ultimately we're just looking for someone mature and considerate, that we can get along with when we're all here together, potentially sharing meals and watching movies together etc. Rent varies depending on the setup and how much space/storage is needed, generally ranging from $700–$950/month with all bills included. Part-time tenants are not expected to contribute towards certain household supplies. We can chat about the details when we connect.
