Living near Revelstoke Mountain Resort
What the resort area is like
The area around the base of Mount Mackenzie: the resort village with its hotel and ski-in, ski-out condos, plus rural roads out towards the airport, like Catherwood.
- Distance: Not walkable to downtown.
- Getting around: You'll want a car. The resort shuttle (BC Transit Route 5) runs between downtown and the hill, and it also stops at the resort's staff accommodation.
- Good for: Living close to the lifts, especially if you work at the resort.
- Typical room: not enough rooms listed here yet to say. See rents across Revy.
Between those, I lived out at Catherwood, out of town near the airport, with friends.
Worth asking: Check how you'll get groceries and get home at night if you don't drive.
